Janine is the Public Engagement Manager at Arnos Vale Cemetery, Bristol (UK), which has a cafe and gift shop and hosts a wide programme of events and activities. Janine is also a professional doctoral student at the University of Hertfordshire and has an interest in public engagement in historic cemeteries; future uses for historic cemeteries; different forms of public engagement and public history; interpreting challenging heritage spaces; and cemeteries and dark tourism.
