Professor and Chair of the Department of Geography and Planning, Faculty of Arts, the University of Bamenda, Cameroon with an interest in the management of rural space and communities with focus on community participation for rural infrastructure development, rural economy, tourism, rural and urban planning, natural resources management, livestock, transhumance, grazing, water management, rural services dynamics, rural institutions and organization capacity building, stakeholders co-operation for rural and urban development. He is also a consultant in rural and urban development. Recently he has developed interest and is his research work has included the management of cemeteries with particular interest in Bamenda. He seeks to bring to focus several issues including the dynamics of cemeteries in terms of development, use and environmental change. He has more than two decades of experience in the teaching of geography and in research. His research works can be consulted in several national and international journals websites.
