Samuel Holleran is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Urban Design at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, working on a project that examines inclusive memorial making practices. Prior to entering academia, he spent ten years facilitating design education and community art programs and creating projects for spatial-justice-oriented nonprofits in New York. His writing on graphic culture, equitable urbanism, and landscape architecture has appeared in publications like Print, Places Journal, Deem, The Avery Review, and Public Books.
