The Colloquium is an essential forum for the discussion of new and emerging cemetery scholarship and is multi-disciplinary, accepting papers from across all the humanities and social sciences. The Colloquium has an emphasis on discussion, and its international and interdisciplinary nature makes the meeting particularly thought-provoking.

The next in-person Cemeteries Colloquium will be taking place at the University of York in May 2027, and a call for papers will be issued in due course.

The Virtual Colloquium will be taking place on 20th November this year. A call for papers has now been issued and further details are available.
